Ruth T. Cash Patterson

Mrs. Ruth T. Cash Patterson, age 87, of Copperhill, TN, passed away February 19, 2014 at the Copper Basin Medical Center. Mrs. Patterson was born April 6, 1926 in Fannin County, GA to the late James William Trammell and the late Emma Mae Sisson Trammell. Ruth was a member of the Kingtown Baptist Church in McCaysville. She was preceded in death by one brother, Rev. Clyde Trammell, husband, Johnny Patterson, and first husband and the father of her children, Rev. J. B. Cash.

Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Margaret & Jim Ledford, daughter & son-in-law, Martha & Jack Buchanan, daughter & son-in-law, Marlene & Sonny Long, daughter & son-in-law, Mary Jo & Kennith Payne, sister & brother-in-law, Ruby & Richard Tata, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Matthew McDaniel and Rev. Renny Whittenbarger officiating. Music provided by Marlene Long and Rebecca Towe. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tony Ledford, Jason Ledford, Jaime Ledford, Todd Towe, Keith Sanderson and David Sanderson. Honorary pallbearers are Opal "Van" McGowan and Kathy Newman.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Saturday from 12-2 pm before the service. Flowers are being accepted by the family or you can make a donation to the Gideons or your favorite charity in Ruth's memory.
