Ruth Nell Green

Mrs. Ruth Nell Green, age 73, of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Green was born Tuesday, October 3, 1933 in Fannin Co., GA to the late Elmer Gray and the late Veda Dean Gray.

Mrs. Ruth was called to heaven on Sunday. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a dedicated member of Welcome Hill # 2 Baptist Church. Her christian life was an example to all who knew her and loved her. she was untiring in her duties as a member of the church along side of her husband of 58 years. Her devotion to God and her family was seen dailey. She will be deeply missed. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Mary Chapter # 338.



Survivors include: husband, Herbert Green, daughter & son-in-law, Shirley & Junior Bowers of Blue Ridge, son & fiancee, Jackie Green & Shelia Ann Stanley of Blue Ridge, brother & sister-in-law, Elmerine & Janey Gray of Blue Ridge, brother in law Cleaston Green of Blue Ridge, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church with the Pastor Jack Buchanan and Minister Brent Carter officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Monday, May 21.
