Ruth Hyatt

Ruth Ann Hyatt, 74, of McCaysville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Copper Basin Health & Rehab in Ducktown, TN. Ruth was born May 30, 1950, in Copperhill, TN to Frank and Stella Green Hyatt.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles G. Deal; brother, Steve Randall Hyatt; and special friend Clyde N. Arp.

She was a member of McCaysville Church of God. Ruth loved flowers and spending time outdoors. She was loved by all who knew her. She retired from a career at Shaw Industries.

Funeral Service, on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home McCaysville Chapel with Rev Steve Lamb officiating. Music provided by friends.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Roy Coffee, Max Housley, Tom Eads, Arvil Mealer, and Jerry Pack.

Interment will follow at Macedonia (Wolf Creek) Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, NC. in Murphy, NC.

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory McCaysville Chapel on Sunday, September 2024 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
