Ruby Mae Cobb

Ruby Mae Cobb, age 78 of McCaysville, passed away February 17, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Cobb was born November 16, 1938 to the late Edgar Joslin and late Gertrude Gifford Joslin. She was a member of McCaysville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by husband, Minister Truman Cobb, brother, Bobby Ray Joslin, brother, Chuck Joslin, brother, John Franklin Joslin, brother, Billy Joslin, and sister, Helen Joslin Burton. Mrs. Ruby enjoyed teaching her Bible class on Sundays, Visiting the nursing home and shut in's and being very active in her church's activities.

Survivors include: Son, Christopher Cobb, daughter, Cheryl Cobb (Ralph) Diaz, daughter, Wanda Lynn Cobb Miller, daughter, Lorri Cobb (Ken) Clark, brother, Jim Joslin, sister, Joann Joslin (Bob) Dress, sister, Kathy Joslin (Mike) Roberts, brother-in-law, Larry Burton,, granddaughter, Christina Rhodes (Cliff) Sloan, grandson, Marcus Cobb, granddaughter, Brittney (Travis) Byars, grandson, Garrett (Jessica) Young, grandson, Aaron Miller, Great Granddaughter, Shelby Byars, and great-grandchild, Baby Sloan.

Memorial services will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the McCaysville Church of Christ, with Minister Travis Byars, Minister Keith Ritchie and Cliff Sloan officiating. Honorary pallbearers include Ralph Diaz, Ken Clark, Garrett Young, Marcus Cobb, Aaron Miller, Cliff Sloan, and Steve Ballew.
