Mrs. Ruby Lou Mullinax Ingram, age 78 of Warne, passed away January 5, 2013 peacefully at her home with her family by her side. Mrs. Ingram was born December 11, 1934 in Ellijay, GA to the late Clifford and Lilly Ellis Mullinax. Ruby was attending the Old Fashioned Baptist Church in Martin's Creek, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clarence "Cecil" Ingram, parents, Clifford and Lilly Mullinax, brother, Hobart Mullinax, sisters, Gaynell Qualls, Rozell Stover and Josie Sanford. Ruby retired from Georgia Boot after 34 years of employment. Afterwards, she went on to work for the Clay County Senior Citizen for 10 years. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: daughter, Wanda (Fred) Cook, daughter, Debbie (Carlton) Robinson, brother, Jessie (Lorene) Mullinax, brother, Joe (Bessie) Mullinax, sister-in-law, Jeannette Cantrell, brother-in-law, Steve Mulkey, granddaughter, Amy (Joey) Shore, grandson, Chris (Tara) Robinson, grandson, Chuck (Barbara) Cook, granddaughter, Jill (Brian) Biggs, great-grandsons, Will Shore and Parker Robinson, great-granddaughter, Shelby Shore and great-granddaughter, Katie Biggs who will be born in April. Also surviving, all of her friends at the Clay County Senior Citizen.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hoyt Brown and Rev. Donnie Cook officiating. Music provided by the Wilsons. Interment will follow in the Many Forks Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joey Shore, Chris Robinson, Chuck Cook, Brian Biggs, Greg Mullinax and Scott Mullinax. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons, Will Shore and Parker Robinson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, January 7, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
