Ruby Carolina Garrett (Lovell)

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces graveside services for Mrs. Ruby Carolina Garrett, age 78, of Suches, Georgia, who passed away late Thursday night, November 14, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Garrett was born in Blairsville, Georgia, on February 1, 1935, a daughter of the late James Walter and the late Rosel Gibson Lovell. She was a lifelong resident of Union County, and a member of Zion Baptist Church in Suches. Her husband, J.W. Garrett, passed away on October 22nd of this year.

Mrs. Garrett leaves behind her loving family members: son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Sabrina Garrett, of Suches; grandson, Nathan Garrett; sisters: Geneva Garrett, of Suches; Mildred Grizzle and Bonnie Seabolt, both of Blairsville; Bessie Cain and Linda Payne, both of Gainesville, Georgia; Opal McGaha, of Young Harris, Georgia; and brother, Earl Lovell, of Blairsville. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Graveside services for Mrs. Garrett have been scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2013, at 3:00 p.m., at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband J.W.
