Mrs. Ruby Anjeline Bailey, age 87 of Andrews, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008 at Valley View Care Center. Mrs. Bailey was born Sunday, July 11, 1920 in Swain County NC to the late Charles Davis and the late Emma Collins Davis. A member of Valleytown Baptist Church and retired from Burchshere Lee after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by .
Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-Law, Wayne & Sally Bailey of Andrews; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Della & Maurice Sherrill of Andrews; daughter, Doris Anderson of Marble; 2 Grandsons, Gary Bailey and Dan Barton; 4 Granddaughters, Tammy Bailey, Rhonda Crenshaw, Robin Roberts and Renee Trout; nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 2:00PM from the Valleytown Baptist Church with the Reverend Paul Jones, Reverend Ron McClure and Dr. Tommy Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Valleytown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Virgil Gibson, Bobby Grindstaff, Bob Gibson, Mike Allison, Danny Pullium, and H.L. Mintz. Honorary pallbearers include: John Cook, Levi Hicks, Todd Hicks, and Mike Rogers.
The family will receive friends at Valleytown Baptist Church from , 12:00 - 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 16.
