Roy Grady Truelove

Roy Grady Truelove, 78, passed away on April 21, 2022, in Jasper, GA.

Roy Truelove was born on March 21, 1944, in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, to the late Grady Truelove and the late Lula Jane Truelove.

Roy loved spending time with his family, his wife, children, grandchildren and his dog Annabelle. He loved the outdoors and working in his garden. He also enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He retired from Sonoco Paper Products in Atlanta, GA, with 35 years of service. He was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church #2.

Roy is survived by his wife, Patricia Truelove, son, Timothy Truelove, daughter, Teresa King, sisters, Hannah Blinn and Ruth Stanley, and grandchildren, Sarah Truelove, Kimberly Truelove, Kayla Truelove, Sebastian Truelove, Jessica Truelove, and Sgt. Mathew Parker.

Roy is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Truelove, Elmer Truelove, and Clyde Truelove. sisters, Ruby Smith, Lois Crandall, Jean Shields, and Edith Truelove.

The service for Roy Grady Truelove will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 2:00 PM from Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge with Rev. Brent Carter Officiating. Music by: Staci & Caleb Ross. Pallbearers: Sebastian Truelove, Kevin Carter, Casey Carter, Brad Ross, Caleb Ross, and Jim Denslow. A private interment will follow the service.

Visitation: Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge.
