Ross Bair

Bair, Ross A., 91, of Boca Raton,FL went to be with the Lord January 10, 2020. Ross was born in March 18, 1928 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Simon and Beulah (Schryock) Bair. He was the former senior pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, Georgia and the founding pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Coral Springs, Florida in 1967.

Rev. Bair was predeceased by his loving wife, of 69 years, Helen in 2019; his parents; and brother, Richard Bair. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia & Phil Scharer, Debbie & Tom Miller, Kathy & Mark Bolhofner, grandchildren, Calie (Kevin) McKinnon, Ryan (Dawn) Scharer, Katelyn (Jacob) Harris, Ross (Sarah) Bolhofner, Taylor (Curtis) Barrett, Shelby (John) Buttimer, Kevin Miller, great grandchildren, Carter, Tyler, Chase and Cameron McKinnon, Ryleigh, Samuel and Harper Scharer, Miles and James Buttimer, Livia and Jesse Harris, Cora and Mark Bolhofner; and sister & brother-in-law, Margene and Paul Weber.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 24, 2020 10:00 - 11:00am at Grace Presbyterian Church, 2310 Young Harris Highway, Blairsville, Georgia 30512 where funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Dr. Mark O. Bolhofner and Rev. Dr. Jon Jacobs officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Laurel Hills Memory Gardens in Hiawassee, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Rev. Bair's memory to Grace Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 105, Blairsville, GA 30514.
