Rosetta Wilma McDaris

Mrs. Rosetta Wilma McDaris, age 72 of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Piedmont Mountain Side Hospital in Jasper. Mrs. McDaris was born June 30, 1945, in Culberson, NC, to the late Alvah and Ella V. Bell Cole. She was a member of New River Baptist Church, enjoyed sewing and working in her flower garden. Mrs. McDaris was preceded in death by brothers, Arvil Cole, Dewey Cole, and grandson, Devin Curtis.

Survivors include husband, Claude (Junior) McDaris, daughter, Angela Groseclose, son, Troy (Hilda) McDaris, daughter, Kimberly Dye, Brother, Jewell Cole, sister, Linda Golden, grandchildren, Justin McDaris, Adrian Groseclose, Alex Curtis, Makiesha Long, Coty Long, and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Saturday, February 17, 2018, at7:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport and Rev. David Mashburn officiating. Music provided by the A.C. Caylor Family. Interment will follow Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 2:00 pm in the Friendship Baptist Church #3 Cemetery. Pallbearers: Justin McDaris, Adrian Groseclose, Coty Long, Mark Golden, Michael Cole, Lynn Cole.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
