Ronnie Ross

Ronnie Ross, age 71 of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away October 19, 2021, in Ellijay, GA. Mr. Ross was born July 21, 1950, in McCaysville, GA to the late Wesley Ross and the late Edith Ross. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremiah Ross, sister, Wilma Bonner, and brothers, Michael Ross & Ricky Ross. Ronnie served three tours of duty in the Vietnam War as an Army Airborne Ranger and received the Purple Heart, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Army Commendation Medal for Heroism.

Survivors include: daughter, Amanda Ross, son, Ronnie Jeremiah Ross, brothers, Mitchell Ross & Larry Ross, sister, Patsy Roberts, grandchildren, Jillian Ross and Chandler Ross, 1st wife, Nancy, and brother-in-law, Kimpton Rhea Bonner.

Funeral services: Monday, October 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Dillard officiating. Interment will follow in Brock (Old Jerusalem) Cemetery in Mineral Bluff, GA. Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Dwayne Ross, Claude Ross, Mitchell Ross, Scott Bonner, and Bill Roberts.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Monday, October 25, 2021, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
