The Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Georgia announces the death of Mr. Ronald Horace Jones, age 59, of Niota,T N , formerly of McCaysville, GA, who passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
Ronald was a member of Coghill Baptist Church and retired as a Techical Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include: wife, Janie Jones of the home, son, James McJunkins of Ingle Wood, TN, son, Ronnie Rose of Decatur, TN, son, Mitchell Jones of Niota, TN, granddaughter, Ashley McJunkins, grandson, Justin McJunkins, and grandson, Jacob McJunkins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the funeral home.
