Ronald David Holcomb

Ronald David Holcomb Sr. passed April 6, 2025 at the age of 71, surrounded by loved ones after an extended illness. Ronald, "Randy", was born April 2, 1954 in Largo, Florida to Richard Albert Holcomb and Peggy Windsor Holcomb.

Growing up, Randy loved surfing, playing baseball, and watching his father race NHRA top-fuel dragsters. After high school, he expanded the family's culvert business to Stockbridge, Ga along with his brothers. Randy enjoyed flying, golfing, cars, and watching racing and football. In retirement, he and his wife fell in love with the mountain life and found peace at their home on the Tusquittee River in Hayesville, NC for 17 years. Randy was easy to love and known for his kind heart, generosity, and sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Patricia Lee Holcomb, brother Rick Holcomb, and son Ronald "Ronnie" Holcomb Jr.

Surviving Randy are his brothers, Rusty (Gina) Holcomb and Roger Holcomb, sister Robin Holcomb, daughter and son in love Brandi and Casey Barrett, stepdaughters Nicole Hughes and Tori Slaton, and 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild with another on the way.

He will be laid to rest along side his son at a graveside service for family and friends at Old Liberty Baptist Church, 74 John England Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512, at 2:00 on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
