Ronald Gene Warnock

Ronald Gene Warnock, age 80, of Mineral Bluff formerly of Louisville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Pruitt of Blue Ridge, Ga. Mr. Warnock was born November 16, 1936, in Soperton, GA to the late Delmar David Warnock and the late Mattie Pauline Page Warnock. He graduated from Mercer University with a BS Degree and later received a Masters Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forrest, NC. Ronald had served as pastor at numerous churches in North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. He was currently a member of Harbor Ministries in McCaysville, GA. He was also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Georgia and had provided temporary administration services to Nursing Homes in Georgia for over 16 years.
He was a man that enjoyed spending time with his family, enjoyed history and the study his family genealogy.
Preceding him in death was a granddaughter, Joyce M. Warnock, two brothers, Donnie Warnock and William P. Warnock, Sr.
Survivors include: wife of almost 60 years, Eleanor Sceals Warnock, three sons; Michael R. (Cindy) Warnock, Robert D. (Merry) Warnock and Steven E. Warnock, daughter; Carol W. (Lee) Arnold, sister; Paula W. Archer; grandchildren; Rebecca Warnock, Levi Arnold, Josh Warnock, Tommie A. (Jody) Nicholson, Stephanie Warnock, Quinn Warnock, Eli Warnock, Daniel Warnock, Anabel Warnock and Brantley Warnock.
A memorial service will be Saturday, August 5, 2017 - 2 pm at Sammons Funeral Home Chapel in Soperton, Ga. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Soperton, Ga.
