Ronald David Holcomb Jr., "Ronnie", Age 33 of Port Orange, Florida formerly of Blairsville Georgia, Passed away Christmas morning in a house fire in Sumter County SC.
Ronnie was born in Stockbridge, Georgia on February 21, 1985. He lived most of his life in Blairsville, GA. He moved to Florida and cared for his grandmother while she battled cancer.
Ronnie worked for the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters. He was kind and witty and always quick to help those in need. He loved football, top fuel drag racing, fishing and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his dear grandmother, Gerry Kearns and grandfathers, Richard Holcomb and Bob Kearns. Also two uncles who were very special to him, Rick Holcomb and Bobby Kearns.
He is survived by his parents; Randy & Pat Holcomb of Hayesville, NC and Chris & Steve Collins of Blairsville, GA; grandmother, Peggy Holcomb of Live Oaks, FL; sisters, Brandi (Casey) Barrett, Nicole Hughes, Tori Slaton and Haley Nottage; brothers, Ben (Tammy) Collins and numerous "Brothers By Other Mothers!". He will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and family.
Friends and Family will gather at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory Of Blairsville on Sunday, December 30th from 2:00pm-3:30pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow.
