Ronald McQueen Coleman, age 65 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Friday, March 21, 2008 at his home. Coleman was born Monday, June 29, 1942 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Wallace McQueen Coleman and the late Mary Turner Coleman. He was a graduate of Avondale High School Class of 1960. He had been a resident of Union County for the past 8 years, moving here from Gwinnett County, GA. Mr. Coleman was of the Lutheran Faith.
Survivors include: wife, Sharon Coleman of Blairsville, daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Jack Stanfill of Athens, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Quinn Todd and Amy Coleman of Monroe, GA and a grandson, Jack Stanfill, Jr..
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 24, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home with Minister Terry Stuart officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Relay for Life.
The magnificent senic geography of our little town is so very beautiful, but the loving and caring people who live here makes Blarisville Heaven on earth. We express our gratitude for the privelege to live in Blairsville, and what a blessing to die here.
