Mr. Robert Holman Wilson passed away on Friday, April 26th, 2024. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family, who remember him as a man of many talents.
Robert was born on June 28th, 1940 to Guy Wilson and Katherine Coburn Wilson in Newport New Hampshire.
Robert served his nation in the U.S Navy, working on a nuclear submarine. He loved to travel, and made trips across the globe. With a love for small convertible cars, he started collecting and restoring old MGs and then transitioned into Miatas. Robert was a member of the Rotary Club, Vermont Truck and Bus, and the American Trucking Association. Robert's biggest passion was singing and was a member of the Hayesville First United Methodist Church Choir for four years. In Florida, he was a member of the Fort Myers Master Singers for over 15 years. Along with singing, he was a talented organist.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Katherine Wilson.
Robert is survived by his wife, Pamela Wilson; three sons, Mark (Melissa) Wilson, Tyler (Becky) Wilson, and Addison (Suzanne) Wilson; nine grandchildren, Tyler Jr., Ashley, Jordan, Payton, Adrian, Brooke, Kelsey, Marshall, and Colt; siblings, Priscilla, Bruce, Susan, Holly, and Patty, as well as other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Hayesville First United Methodist Church.
