Robert Schmid

Robert T Schmid, 84, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, in Blairsville, GA. Robert was born February 28, 1940, in Hackensack, NJ to Francis and Priscilla Schmid.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Francis Schmid; and his mother, Priscilla Toye Schmid.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Schmid; daughter, Laura (Todd) Pollock; son, Matthew (Beth) Schmid; son, Michael (Michelle) Schmid; daughter, Leah (Eric) Dietrich; three grandchildren, Kate (Paul) Miles, Alexis Schmid, and Nikolaus "Nik" Dietrich; great grandchild, Caleb Miles; and his sister, Carolyn Sherman.

Robert enjoyed gardening and lots of reading. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Robert was blessed to have a wonderful relationship with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, and the love of his family and friends.
