Robert "bobby" Rogers

Mr. Robert "Bobby" Rogers, age 63 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Rogers was born Monday, January 8, 1945 in Union County, GA to the late Randall Rogers and the late Roberta Seabolt Rogers. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Union County and had worked for Rogers Food Store and Ingles. He was preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Charles Rogers and sister, Betty Collins.
Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Robert and Amy Rogers of Blairsville, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth and Ronnie Hooper of Hiawassee, GA, special friend, Sandy Bradley of Blairsville, GA, brothers, Ray Rogers, Tommy Rogers and Don Rogers all of Blairsville, GA, brother, Clark Rogers of Cleveland, OH, sister, Louise Lance of Morganton, GA, grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephany and Anthony Hooper, Laura Beth and Adalyn Rogers,serveral nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 10, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Union Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Terry Rogers, Robby Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Larry Lance, Gary Lance, and Milton Bradley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Saturday, August 9.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Union County Building Fund.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
