Robert Lynn Spring was born May 2, 1961 in Sarasota, Florida and died June 20, 2016 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, Georgia of lung cancer.
He leaves his mother Sara (Sally) Jane Spring; brother, Fred Spring; Stepson Keith Orser and stepdaughter Kim Orser.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years Patricia Orser Spring. He served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years. Robert was an airbrush artist in Sarasota for 25 years before moving to Young Harris in 2010. He was an extremely gifted artist, working in many different mediums before discovering his passion for making frequency-tuned windchimes.
Robert was a free spirit and loved nature and the outdoors. He will be truly missed by his family and many friends at Foster's Market.
