Robert R. Howell, a man of remarkable character and enduring love, passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2024. Born on August 18th, 1936, Robert's life was a testament to resilience, humor, and boundless affection.
Robert leaves behind a legacy cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Griffin, his devoted children, Nancy & Ted Drake, Randy and Annette Howell, Holly and Joey Eaker, Robbie and Kathy Howell and Daughter-in-law Carla Howell. His absence is felt deeply by his 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Robert is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember him for his kindness and humor.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Georgine Howell, his Brother, William Howell, his beloved wife, Elsie Deckard Howell, his son Daniel Howell, and three cherished grandchildren William "Rusty" Marshall, Joshua Howell, and Amy Ortiz. While he may have left this world, his memory will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Throughout his life, Robert was known for his passion for classic cars, his sharp wit, and his talent for weaving captivating tales. His sarcasm was legendary, often leaving laughter in its wake. But above all else, Robert will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family. He was a pillar of strength, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love to those he held dear.
Robert Howell will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that he was cherished beyond measure and loved beyond words.
