Robert Harry Jones

Mr. Robert Harry Jones, age 77, of Marble, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital. He was born October 29, 1941, in Murphy, NC to the late William Alexander Jones and Winnie Faye Hall Jones. Mr. Jones had served with the Peachtree Fire Department for 22 years and retired from MGM Brake. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by son-in-law Eddie Raxter.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Huskins Jones, children, Doreen Jones Raxter, Jeffrey Jones, Michelle Jones Hall and husband Kevin, Robert (Bobby) Harry Jones, Jr., and Greg Jones, sister, Melba (Snookie) Morrow, grandchildren, Chelsea Jones Moss and husband Phillip, Brett Jones, Jacob Jones and wife Kaitlin, Hannah Jones, Isaiah Jones, and Jordan Raxter, great-grandchildren, Huntleigh Moss and Baylor Moss.
