Robert Harper

Robert Harper, age 80 of Cleveland, formerly of the Copper Basin, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018, at his home. Mr. Harper was born March 31, 1937, in McCaysville, GA to the late Winston Harper and Jessie Turner Harper. He was a member of Mineral Bluff Baptist Church, the McCaysville Lodge #423 F&AM, the Yaarab Shrine Temple in Atlanta, and was a retired miner from City Service Company. He also loved camping and outdoor activities.

Survivors include wife: Sara Sue Harper, sons: Tim Harper, and Jack (Teresa) Harper, daughter: Dr. Renee Collins, brother: Charles Harper, grandchildren: Christopher Lynn Martin and Zachary Harris, great-grandchildren: Joslin, Caden, Cylus, and Brady.

Services: Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 2:00 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Clayton officiating.
