Robert Glenn "Bob" Weese

Mr. Robert Glenn Weese, age 76 of Blue Ridge, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Weese was born March 2, 1937 in McCaysville, GA, to the late Glenn and Vivian Thompson Weese. He was a member of the Copperhill United Methodist Church. Bob enjoyed fishing in his spare time, being active with the Gideons organization and reading his Bible.

Survivors include: wife, Carolyn Clyburn Weese, daughter, Susan (Alan) Turner, daughter, Nancy Montgomery, daughter, Robyn Heatherly, son, Robert (Michelle) Weese Jr., grandchildren, Devyn, Kelsea, and Haley Montgomery, Trey and Grant Berry, Robyn and Aaron Turner, Morgan and Caroline Heatherly, Jackson and Olivia Weese, two great-grandchildren, Landen Puckett and Brayden Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Copperhill Methodist Church with the Rev. Jennings Neeld and Rev. David Anderson officiating. Music provided by Jerrie Sue Massengale and Carolyn Smith. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers Alan Turner, Devyn Montgomery, Aaron Turner, Grant Berry, Trey Berry and Scott Cheatham. Honorary pallbearers George Weese, fellow members of Gideons International and The Mixed Blessings Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Friday evening from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
