Robert Frank Hamlin

Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death and services for Robert Frank  Hamlin, age 94,  of Hiawassee, Georgia, who  passed away February 5, 2022.  Mr. Hamlin was formerly a resident of Brasstown Manor in Hiawassee.

Hamlin was born July 13, 1927 in Syracuse, New York to Harry and Wilhma Hamlin. He served in the Army during WWII and is thanked for his service. Mr. Hamlin lived a life most admiring and will be missed by his loved ones.

He will be warmly remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his family: his daughter & son-in-law, Lori & Ron McKay; sisters, Joyce Haffenden and Fernie McArthur; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his loving wife of 58 years, Carmella Hamlin; parents, Harry & Wilhma Hamlin; brother, Duane Hamlin; and sister, Jean Moyer..

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10th,  from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m at Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, February 10th, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Laurel Hills Memory Gardens with Military Honors presented by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
