Robert Earl Wilkey

Robert Earl Wilkey, age 64, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on August 23, 2021, at Fannin Regional Hospital. Robert was born April 11, 1957, in Talking Rock, GA, to the late Elick Wilkey and the late Mattie Lee Matthews. He was a member of Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, GA, and served in the Marines. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Elick Wilkey, and mother, Mattie Lee Wilkey.

Survivors include: wife, Michelle Wilkey, sons, Thomas Wilkey, Adam Wilkey, daughters, Shianne Bridges, Dakota Blake, brothers, Terry Batt, Eddie Lee Wilkey, and sister, Susie Chastain, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Welcome Hill # 2 Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, GA, with Brent Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA, at 3 pm.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Thomas Wilkey, Adam Wilkey, Adam Cantrell, Levi Campbell, Chris Miller, and John Dutch. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Taylor and Ben Duncan.
