Robert Earl Davis

Robert Earl Davis, age 94 of Copperhill, passed away October 11, 2016 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mr. Davis was born May 28, 1922 in Etowah, TN to the late Fred Davis and Birdie Long Davis. A member of the Baptist faith and the American Legion, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Davis.

Survivors include: daughter, Jane (Ray) Adams, sons, Robert E. "Bobby" Davis, Jr. and Randall Fred "Randy" Davis, sister-in-law, Delma Galloway, grandchildren Amie Roscoe, Chad Davis, Jeremy Davis, Jason Davis, Rodney Davis, Adam Davis, Mathew Davis, Christopher Davis, Marc Davis, Susie Curry and Patrick Adams, fifteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services: Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Parris and the Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Music provided by: Ed Vest. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN. Pallbearers: Jeremy Davis, Jason Davis, Rodney Davis, Adam Davis, Mathew Davis, Christopher Davis, Marc Davis, Chad Davis. Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Thursday, October 13, 2016, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
