Mr. Robert Brown, age 79 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007 at North East Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Brown was born Wednesday, August 31, 1927 in Union County, Georgia to the late Jim Brown and the late Pearl Weaver Brown. He attended Revival Baptist Church and was a member of Dooley Masonic Lodge #367 F & AM. He was preceded in death by son, Ricky Brown, sisters, Maybelle Ledford and Wilma Morgan.
Survivors include: wife, Marie Brown of Blairsville, GA, sister, Adell Henson of Blairsville, GA, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Seay officiating. Music will be provided by Scott and Tammy Lance and the Ladies Trio. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Tim Young, Randy Ledford, Mike Duvall, Robert Debty, David Hemphill and Tracy Henderson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from starting at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, May 13.
