Ricky Lee Stewart

Mr. Ricky Lee Stewart, age 57 of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA. Ricky was born June 27, 1958 in West Virginia to the late Jack Stewart and the late Shirley Simmons Stewart. A member of the Morganton Baptist Church, Ricky enjoyed fishing and wood working in his spare time. He crafted many beautiful works of art, in particular ornate walking sticks. He proudly served his country enlisting in the United States Navy. He was a loving husband, father, step-father and grandfather.

Survivors include wife, Susie Stewart, two daughters, Whitney Taylor Stewart and Kelsey Lee Stewart, two step-sons, Robert Daniel Bentley and James Tyler Vaughn, two sisters, Tammy (Leonard) Reeves and Kelly Locklear, three grandchildren, Nathan Bentley, Dominic Bentley and Brienna Bentley.

A memorial service will be held Monday, January 4, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Morganton Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Kincaid officiating. Burial will be Monday, January 4, 2015 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
