Richard Pierce

SP4 Richard Franklin Pierce passed away peacefully at his home on June 22, 2024. He was born on November 21, 1947.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Birdie and Clint Pierce. SP4 Pierce was born in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Nancy Hice Pierce, of Cherry Log, Georgia; Siblings, brother Johnny Pierce, and sisters, Cyrilla (Larry) Petty and Clarcie Pierce. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was VFW Commander for over 20 years and 20 years and a life member of DAV, American Legion, and the North Georgia Honor Guard.

A private graveside service will be conducted.
