Richard McGill

Richard Alex McGill, 84, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Richard was born December 18, 1939, in Dalton, GA to Oscar and Pearl McGill.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Oscar McGill; mother, Pearl McGill; and wife, Evelyn McGill.

He is survived by his daughter, Delita (Chuck) Taylor; grandson, Joshua Jones; granddaughters, Alexis (Chad) Walker and Jessica (Chad) Walden; great-grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Jacie Jones, Declan Walker, Lowen Walker, and Langston Walker. He is also survived by his companion, Francis Leatherwood, and her daughter Brenda Dillard.

Richard served our country in the United States Army. He loved his family and enjoyed the hobby of woodworking.
