Richard Keeton

Dr. Richard Keeton, age 65 of Murphy, passed away September 8, 2013 at Murphy Medical Center. Dr. Keeton was born October 7, 1947 in El Dorado, AR. Dr. Keeton retired and moved to this area in 2000 from Denham Springs, LA where he had a Veterinary Practice. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include: wife, Sharlene Keeton of Murphy, daughter, Kristi Naquin of Denham Springs, LA, son, Steven Keeton, also of Denham Springs, sister, Patricia Keeton Tolleson of Colorado Springs, CO, and grandsons, Thomas Naquin and Daniel Naquin.

Funeral services: Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with Pastor Timothy Huff officiating. Interment will follow in the Hanging Dog Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Steven Keeton, Thomas Naquin, Paul Tolleson, Richard Tolleson, and Joey Naquin.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Friday, September 13, 2013 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
