Mrs. Rena Mae Fisher, age 98, passed into heaven June 9, 2016 at her daughter's home in Port Orange, Florida. Rena Mae was born December 14, 1917 in Epworth, Georgia, a daughter of the late Miles Dillard and Vaughtie Haren Richard. She also is preceded in death by her Husband Ralph Lee Fisher. They were married July 24, 1934 in Blue Ridge,Georgia.
She is survived by Brother James Howard Richard of Port Orange, Florida, Daughter and Son-in-law Shirley and Kenneth Kincaid of Dalton Georgia, Son Danny Fisher of Marietta, Georgia, Son Robert (Bobby) Fisher of Daytona Beach, Florida, Son and Daughter-in-law Marty and Sharon Fisher of Morganton, Georgia, Daughter and Son-in-law Kathy and Chuck Haller of Port Orange, Florida, Daughter-in-law Margaret Godfrey Fisher of Woodstock, Georgia, Sixteen Grandchildren, Thirty four Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren, Numerous nieces and nephews, Children that she provided day care in her home, A large extended family that called her Mamaw Fisher, and Her special caregiver for the past five years Renee Wallace Ferrall of Port Orange, Florida.
Rena Mae was the oldest member of Epworth United Methodist Church where she taught Children's Sunday School class for many years. She was active in United Methodist Women's group, Eastern Star and the local Garden Club. Rena Mae was a tiny little woman with a great big heart that was full of love for everyone.
Funeral services: Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Wes Privett officiating. Interment will follow in the Epworth 1st Baptist Church Cemetery in Epworth, GA.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA Saturday June 18, 2016, from 6:00 pm until 9:00pm.
