Reid Nicholson

Pastor Reid Nicholson, age 70 of Mineral Bluff, passed away January 5, 2016 at his home. He was born November 2, 1945 in Fannin County , GA to the late Lawrence Nicholson and the late Vivian Nicholson. He was Pastor of Victory Temple Holiness Church for 35 years, and was the founder of Nicholson Tire Company which opened in 1982. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, tent revivals, and was always on the go. Mr. Nicholson was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Rosenthal, and son-in-law Bobby Franklin.

Survivors include: wife, Eula Mae Nicholson, son, Dennis (Patty) Nicholson, son, Ricky (Larenda) Nicholson, daughter, Brenda (Barry) Lawrence, son, Don (Stephanie) Nicholson, son, Tim (Becky) Nicholson sister, Helen (Marc) Mashburn, Brother, Joel (Anita) Nicholson, Brother, David (Sue) Nicholson, Brother, Randall Nicholson, Brother, Stevie Nicholson, Brother, Danny (Janice) Nicholson, sister, Tammy (Kenneth) Watkins, 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren
Funeral services: Friday, January 8, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Lucas and Rev. Frank Galbreath officiating. Music provided by: Randall Nicholson, Karen Lucas, and Pam Sulfridge. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery .
