Reba Lee Long (Cochran)

Mrs. Reba Lee Long, age 86 of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Long was born March 1, 1927 in McCaysville, GA to the late Rev. Henry and Rosie Beavers Cochran. A member of the Glen Hope Baptist Church, she enjoyed flowers and gardening in her spare time, also canning and freezing vegetables. In her later years she liked to solve puzzle books and just read her Bible.

Survivors include loving husband, Frank M. Long, son, James R. (Carolyn Sue) Long, daughter, Wanda R. (Tommy E.) Morris, son, Jack (Betty) Long, son, Carl "Raymond" (Sherry Jane) Long, daughter, Sandra Sue (Mitchell) Aaron, brother, Robert (Oleeta) Cochran, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one step great-grandson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Reverends Wayne Mashburn, David Mashburn, and James Worley officiating. Music provided by Mrs. Pat Mashburn. Interment will follow in the Stockhill Cemetery. Pallbearers Tony Long, Josh Aaron, Brian Long, Cody Weaver, Earl Cochran, and Robbie Conley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, March 29, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
