Reathel Ware

Reathel Ware, age 68, of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Ware was born January 26, 1952, to the late Wade Ware and the late Mary Ollie Wright Ware. She was a member of Old Jerusalem Baptist Church. Her heart's desire was to be reunited with the love of her life Attle Ware. Reathel enjoyed being with her grandchildren, music, and spending time talking on the phone. She loved her family very much and wanted them all to be happy! She has been reunited with her late husband Attle Ware, and her infant daughter Janet Lori Ware, as well as many other loved ones who went on before her. Reathel loved the song "I'll Fly Away" and she would often sing it on the phone. She was a selfless person who worked hard for her family. She never had a lot of earthly treasures and did not want them, all the wanted was for her family to be happy. Attle and Reathel were together 47 years before Attle passed.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer (Daniel) Walker and Tina (Willie) Hulsey, brother, Rev. Gene Ware, sister, Owa Cruse, grandson, Jaret Walker, and granddaughter, Brianna Hulsey.

Due to the Covid-19 Virus, graveside services will be private on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at the Van Hook Cemetery in Mineral Bluff, GA, with Rev. David Whitener officiating. Interment will follow in the Van Hook Cemetery. Pallbearers: Willie Hulsey, Daniel Walker, and Jaret Walker.
