Myrl Eskew

Raymond Myrl Eskew, age 63, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Mineral Bluff, GA. Myrl was born September 12, 1960, in Atlanta, GA to Paul Raymond Eskew and Buelah Magdeline McDonald.

Myrl was preceded in death by his father, Paul Raymond Eskew.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Warren; sons, Michael Andrew Warren and wife Autumn, and Stephen Thomas Warren and Olivia Wilson; daughters, Brittany Michelle Eskew and wife Megan, and Brandi Leighann Eskew and Jake Flanigan; mother, Buelah Magdeline McDonald; brothers, Mark D. Eskew, Michael Edward Eskew, and James Mitchell Pickens; sister, Myra Lynn Stoddard; grandchildren, Bradley Thomas Warren, Sophia Rose Warren, Logan Wisner, Lincoln Ray Warren, Lacey Nicole Warren, and Lucas Elijah Flanigan; and lots of nieces and nephews who all loved him very much!

Myrl was a great, loving man who loved his family above all. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors and absolutely loved to go fishing. When he wasn't ripping lips off a bass at his lake at home, he enjoyed sitting around pickin' his guitar and singing songs like Mama Tried, Every Mother's Son, and I Saw the Light. His favorite one to pick and sing was Must've Been the Mighty Hand of the Lord. There was never a dull moment with Myrl around. He loved to dance around and make jokes, really just anything to make anyone laugh. He loved to put a smile on everybody's face. He just all around enjoyed being surrounded by those he loved and those who loved him. 

His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2pm at East Newton Baptist Church - 11290 US-278 Covington, GA 30014 by Pastor Danny Sorrell
