Raymond Elwin Moss

Mr. Raymond Elwin Moss, age 74 of Cherry Log, GA passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Raymond was born August 28, 1943 in Atlanta, GA to the late Artis Moss and the late Nina Middlebrook Moss. He was a Deacon of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cherry Log and also an Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Moss, twin brother, Richard Moss, and sister, Jonelle Garrett. In his spare time, Raymond enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors.

Survivors include loving wife, Ilka Moss, son, Clay Moss, two step-daughters, Lisbeth Marrugo and Gisell Marrugo, two sisters, June Murdock and Janice Peek and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cherry Log with Pastor Paul Mims officiating. Interment will be 11:00 am at the GA National Cemetery in Canton on Thursday, August 30, 2018.

The family will receive friends at the Cornerstone Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
