Ralph Virlen Green

Mr. Ralph Virlen Green, age 83 of Blue Ridge, passed away August 3, 2014 at the Copper Basin Medical Center. Mr. Green was born March 5, 1931 in Copper Hill, TN to the late Floyd Green and the late Rhonda Hughes Green. A member of Friendship Baptist Church #3 he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Green, Roy Jackson Green, and Andrew Lee Green, one sister, Marie Picklesimer. Ralph was a Mason having dual memberships at the Copper Hill Lodge and the Ducktown Lodge. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting and trading knives.

Survivors include ten nieces and nephews and several friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Earnest Hughes officiating. Music provided by Martha Kries. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church #3 Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
