Radella "Marie" Tarpley

Radella "Marie" Tarpley, 79, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice Kennesaw, GA, surrounded by loved ones. Marie was born November 19, 1943, in Isabella, TN to Edgar and Louisa Duvall. Marie was preceded in death by spouse, Harold Tarpley; father, Edgar Duvall; mother, Louisa Duvall; son, Cecil Harold Tarpley III; sister, Janette Bell; sister, Dorothy Ballew; brother, Ray Duvall; brother, Roy Duvall; sister, Lounell Hampton. She has many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by brother Max (and wife Jean) Duvall; sister Doris Pelfrey; brother Morgan Duvall. Marie enjoyed bowling, fishing with family, and gardening as a hobby in her younger years. She loved spending time with her family and especially the children she worked with during her career in the Clayton County School System.

Graveside Service, on Thursday June 1, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Copperhill, TN. with Minister John Duvall officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Chris Crump, Bryan Crump, Bristol Ray, Charles Duvall, Wesley Richardson, and Terry Bell.
