"birdie" Roberta Frances Ballew

Mrs. Birdie Frances Ballew, age 92, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Mrs. Ballew was born Saturday, October 10, 1914 in Fannin County to the late Tommy Davis and the late Martha Long Davis. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church # 1. Bridie was preceded in death by her husabnd, Robert Ballew.

Survivors include: son, Jesse Hill of McCaysville, GA, son, Tommy Dills of Mineral Bluff, GA, son, Roy Ballew of Blue Ridge, brother, Everett Davis of Wilscott, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Junior Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Daves Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Dillon Ponder, Dewayne Watkins, Jeremy Watkins, Ricky Bradburn, Chris Walker, and Donnie Price.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Wednesday and Thursday Evening..
