Polly Smith Stallings age 87, of Blue Ridge formerly of Atlanta and Temple, GA passed away May 23, 2007 at Fannin Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with pneumonia.
Mrs. Stallings, known as "Ms. Polly" was a member of Temple Baptist Church she was as past Worthy Matron of the West Chandler Chapter No. 495 of the order of Eastern Star in Temple, GA, Sunday school teacher, excellent cook, homemaker, crafter and loved raising African violets. "Ms. Polly's" favorite pastime was shopping for a bargain at thrft stores and

wth her sisters and friends, reading autobiographies, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters Elaine Peery and her husband Jim Peery of Blue Ridge and Judy Wilson of Canton. Sisters Avon Wright of Snellville and Jeanette
Leslie and husband Charles Leslie of Sandy Springs. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, John Moore and wife Dawne Moore of Dacula, GA, Brian Moore and wife Jennifer Moore of Dallas, Jeff Sheppard and wife Debbie Sheppard of Hayesville, NC, Jeannie Sheppard of Canton, Jeremy Wilson of Arkansas, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Many neices, nephews an loving friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, at 11:00am from the chapel of the Henry Cochran Funeral home with Dr. Roger Beck officating. Music by Greg Norton. Interment will follow in the Asbury Cemetery in Temple, Ga.
The Family will recieve friends at the funeral home Thursday evening 5 till 8 PM.
