Phyllis Rice

Phyllis Maxine Rice, age 86, of Morganton, GA. passed away Saturday August 5, 2017 at Hospice of Chattanooga. Phyllis was born October 18, 1930 in Fork Ridge, TN to the late Fred C. Hamlett and the late Cora Ownby Hamlett. A member of Concord Baptist Church, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, William Olon Rice, sister's, Virginia Nell Smith & Joyce Conn.

Survivors include: daughter., Susan (Harold) Prior, daughter, Sheilda "Diann" (Alan) Sheer, son, Larry (Maurine) Aaron, daughter, Cora "Sally" Frias, daughter, Carolyn Moore, brother's, Doyle Hamlett & James Ralph Hamlett, 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren & 17 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services: Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Wehunt officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, August 8, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
