Peter B Bowman age 89 of Beale Court Drive Blairsville, GA. Passed away peacefully at his home on Monday April 15, 2024 following an extended illness. Peter Bowman was born on February 5, 1935 in Collingdale PA., the son of the late Walter Heckler Bowman and Christina Duncan Harris. He was a coast guard veteran. Peter retired from the city of St. Petersburg, FL. Water Department after 30 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and traveling. Peter was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Sara Seitz. Surviving Mr. Bowman are his children Timothy Bowman of Frederick, Md., Jeneise Pflaumer of St. Petersburg, FL., Matthew Bowman of Cornelia, GA., Jeffrey Bowman of Cleveland, GA., his grandchildren Catherine Shipman, Timothy J. Bowman, Sarah Black, Ember Rantz, proceeded by Stephen Bowman, Henry Bowman, Stella Bowman, and Lily Pflaumer, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family request that donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
