Peggy Joyce Lanier Olliff, age 82, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at her home in Mineral Bluff. Born August 15, 1933 in Mount Dora, FL to the late Erbin Lanier and the late Ruby Lane Lanier, Mrs. Olliff grew up in Bulloch County, GA where she met her husband Benjamin C. Olliff who preceded her in death. Mrs. Olliff was an artist in floral design and some of her happiest memories involve her 20 year ownership of Peggy's Flower Basket in Mabelton, Georgia. She attended Blue Ridge Methodist Church, was a member of the Pink Ladies at Fannin Regional Hospital and the Get In Step line dancers. The family of Mrs.Olliff is deeply grateful to the wonderful Regency Hospice staff for their loving care.
Survivors include: Son, Charles (Jane) Donaldson of Mineral Bluff, Brother, Ellis "Ray" Lanier, of Mineral Bluff, Brother, Don (Del) Lanier, of Auburn AL, Grandson, Carl Joseph (Tonya) Donaldson, Great-grandchildren, Edona Donaldson and Alana Donaldson.
Funeral services: Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Pastor Charles Donaldson and Pastor Greg Bailey officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
