Peggy Lou Pittman

July 16, 1941 — August 7, 2016

Peggy Lou Pittman, age 75 of Dawsonville, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Gateway Nursing Home. Ms. Pittman was born July 16, 1941 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late German Pitman and the late Evelyn Leo Panter Pittman. Ms. Pittman was a member of Mount Zion Church in Dahlonega and loved crocheting and crafts. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Norman Pitman, Herman Pitman, and Wilbert Pitman, her sisters, Helen Crawford, and Marcilla Allen, her grandson, William Christopher Pittman, and her great granddaughter, Sierra Faith Hardy.

Survivors include: sons, William D Pittman and Bobby Lynn Pittman, sisters, Marie Morris and Pearl Crane, nine grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA with Rev. Max Pittman, Rev. Russell Burt, and Rev. Stephen Gerrells officiating. Music provided by Sharon Grizzle. Interment will follow in the Hot House Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA Wednesday, August 10, 2016, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
