Pauline Postelle

Pauline Bell Postelle, 93, of Murphy, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. Born in Blairsville, Georgia on August 1, 1928, she was one of 8 children to the late Rev. James Calvin Bell and the late Vaul Walker Bell. She is now in heaven, holding hands once again with her lifelong love and husband, Cecil Owen Postelle, to whom she was married for 76 years.

She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. As a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, she was known for her strong faith in the Lord and singing his praises with her church family.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Owen Postelle; daughter, Leveda Ann Smith; great-great-grandchildren Leann Thomas and Creed Gooch; brothers, Harvey Bell, Pete Bell, and Tom Bell; sisters, Mizie McMillan and Christine Newman. Survivors include her children, James Owen Postelle and wife Odessa, Charlyne Kimsey, and Terrell Ray Postelle and wife Kari; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Sally Boring and Sarah Loudermilk.

Memorial services will be scheduled later in the Spring.
