Paul Smith

Paul Eugene Smith, 82, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Marietta, GA. Paul was born January 10, 1942, in Franklin, NC to Grover and Marjorie Smith.

Paul was preceded in death by father, Grover Smith; mother, Marjorie Smith; brother, Clyde Smith; brother, James Smith; brother, Neville Smith; and sister, Betty Brendle.

He is survived by his son, James Smith; caregiver and friend, Ronnie Harnage; brothers, Wade Smith, Willard (Rehette), and Grover (Janice) Smith Jr.  

He enjoyed camping, fishing, and being outdoors. He enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Rock Club in Marietta, Georgia.

Funeral Service, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville, with Rev Greg Smith and Rev Jason Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Union Memory Gardens in Blairsville, Georgia. Military Honors will be presented by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The following gentlemen will serve as Pallbearers, Kevin Smith, Soloman Patrick, Clarence Redden, Grover Brendle, Jeffrey Brendle, and Mark Brendle.  Honorary Pallbearers will include his brothers.

The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville on Thursday, 15th of February, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
