Mr. Paul Queen, age 76 of Morganton, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Union County Nursing Home. Mr. Queen was born Wednesday, April 27, 1932 in Fannin Co. Ga. to the late Sam Queen and the late Margaret Collins. A member of the Baptist Faith, retried from General Motors, loved to fish, hunt and farm, He was preceded in death by brothers, Ross Queen, Jack Queen, sisters, Ethel Hunter, Hazel Dickey, Ellen Whitmore, Martha Underwood.

Survivors include: wife, Sue Lindsey Queen, son & daughter-in-law, Billy Paul & Michelle Queen of Duck River, TN, son & daughter-in-law, Alan & Becky Queen of Morganton, brother, Quince Queen of Morganton, sister, Lucille Bridges of Suches, sister, Mary Tritt of Los Angeles, CA, sister, Alwayne Beavers of Michigan, brother, Herbert Queen of Cleveland, TN, granddaughter, Myleah McGuigan, granddaughter, Mollie Chessor, granddaughter, Megan Arnold, granddaughter, Karen Queen, granddaughter, Julie Queen, great-granddaughter, Gracie McGuigan, great-granddaughter, Claire McGuigan, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Keith Jones, and Reverend Danny Parris officiating. Music provided by, Keith & Debbie Jones, Pallbearers are, Gregg McGuigan, Mathew Chessor, Jon Arnold, Sammy Quinton, David Queen, Jackie Queen. Interment will follow in Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 15, from 6-9 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 855 Abutment Road, Dalton, Ga. 30721, .
