Paul Melvin Detty, age 79, of Epworth, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Cleveland, TN. Paul was born July 31, 1944, in Allensville, OH, to Amos and Beatrice Detty.

Paul was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Detty; sister, Rebecca Poole; brother, Amos Detty Jr.; brother, Olan Detty; grandchild, Stephen Detty; father, Amos Detty; and mother, Beatrice Kyle Detty.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Detty; daughter, Saundra (Becky) Detty; son, Jon (Lisa) Gilman; daughters, Michelle (Ronald) Testerman, Noelle Cartier, and Nicole Brock; brother, Virgil (Marilyn) Detty; sisters, Delores (James) Sowers and Nila (Jack) Sauner; and grandchildren, Zack Detty, Nick Detty, Jonathan (Casey) Detty, Patrick (Laura) Gilman, Joshua (Jessi) Gilman, Katherine Kearney, Christopher Kearney, Elizabeth Kovacs, Aaron (Carrie) Testerman, Alyssa Nieves, and Hayden "Bear" Testerman.
